I have never had to deal with a judge.(im a good boy and stay out of trouble) however. I did like his (servas) stance when the seatbelt law was just starting to take hold. He was throwing out all tickets for such a violation because he didn't agree with it.
He's not fond of the helmet bill either which is a good thing. Nothing like a judge who believes in liberty.

Great, just great, you support a judge who refuses to administer the law as written because he disagrees with it???? Nice move, there John Q. Judges are supposed to administer the law, not make the laws. That is mandated to the legislature. Of course, people either did not learn that or forgot it already!

I never said I "supported" him. I simply agreed with his stance on one law. Like I said, It was when the law was just starting to take hold and cops were using any excuse they could to pull people over for not wearing one. Now the law has changed and not wearing one is all the reason they need.

When people went to his court to fight the ticket, as the presiding judge, It is his disrection to throw out any ticket if he thiks it was unjustly issued.
