Man Killed By Charleston Police Had Criminal History

I have insurance and a vault. When I am home, I have a sawed off shotgun at arms length. Therefore, if it's a burglary, I'm filing a claim no matter what the cops do. And if they want to come over to the house and try it when I'm home they can enjoy their introduction to the after life.

With that said, if you run all around the neighborhood looking for someone that burglarized you dwelling, and you harm them in revenge, you go to prison. You have no authority under the law to harm people in retribution for something.

Uh having a sawed off shotgun at home or anyplace is against the law here in WVa - but you are correct that if they break in and you are home then you'll put them in the afterlife - thieves in this area will only go in homes where elderly folks live and they knock on door and are let in, then they rob them and it may be days before the poor things even know it. As to us that could harm them, they make sure we are not home before they come in. I do know to hurt someone off your property in possession of your belongings is a crime (sigh)So I'll be sure and file burlary report and if I find the person, I beleive I can make a citizens arrest, hold them until the police arrives to settle it.

In what neighborhood of Charleston are you driving? I lived in Charleston almost 30 years and only got pulled over twice - once for running a stop sign and once for expired inspection sticker.

So many FOI's filed and with Goods' mother getting a lawyer it was going to be done anyway. And she even had the nerve TO SAY SHE MAY NEVER EVEN LOOK AT THE VIDEOS - you can bet Hal Albertson, her attorney will when he trys to get millions for her with his cut being getting millions too. I hope to heck they lose - Good was a loser, He hang with losers - they do drugs and drink and don't work - thats all ok but IF IT WAS YOUR MOTHER that got hurt or robbed by them THEN IT WOULD NOT BE OK would it? Good's children are mentioned - he had so many - do they even know each other OR HIM? guess welfare takes care of them - some of them anyway - OUR TAXES AT WORK HUH.

I am sooo glad that the criminal died. i m glad his mother is suffering too. his behavior got himself killed and the mother wants to blame the cops. she should have raised her son with some morals but she failed as a mother so her son died and he deserved it. he used his truck for a weapon and refused to end the chase. it's good that they shot him. i hope he suffered and i hope his mother reads this too. it's too bad that the cop died trying to do his job.

What a horrible thing to say. This man did not have a gun, was not attempting to kill anyone, maybe drunk and trying to escape. This was a very ignorant act on the part of a lot of uneducated officers.
It is a shame also that an officer was gunned down by his own. Seems strange though. When I am looking down the barrel of my pistol, I see exactly what is in my sights, WHY DIDN'T THIS OFFICER SEE WHAT WAS IN HIS SIGHTS BEFORE HE KILLED HIS FELLOW OFFICER?
And as for the report that they won't be doing ballistics tests because you cannot perform ballistics testing on a .40 caliber. That is the biggest BS story I have ever heard. They just don't want to point out the officer that killed one of his own.
But you know, I will pray for you. For the terrible awful things you said about this poor woman and her loss. It is not her fault what happened. How can you wish her such ill will?
Unless you are one named in the upcoming lawsuit?
Shame on you.
But again, I will pray that you open your heart and mind to the lord and let go of such hate for a person that you don't even know.

Wrong HOMO. A sawed off shotgun is NOT legal in WV. Just confiscated some. Silencers are illegal in all of the US. It is a felony just to have a silencer in your possession in most states.

Well the lady in the car with Good when he was killed is now out of jail - guess she'll be filing some type of suit. The reason why robberies and drugs are mentioned in this story is BECAUSE IT IS THE WHOLE REASON ALL OF THIS HAPPENED !!! Good was guilty of all the above - his record clearly shows that as does the record of his passenger. My God if they had not been drinking or looking for drugs (or already had drugs in their system) they would not have been acting "so wild - running from the police" they either had something to hide or were out of their minds - the passenger even through things out the window back at the police chasing them - both were acting suicidal and homicidal. Though I'm not glad anybody is dead - I don't think his mother - or five children he evidently NEVER supported for a second - should make out on this.
