Nothing happened. He may not be perfect but he's a good clean cop compared to most. Sad situation.

Good clean cop comared to most? WOW!

If you call being on TAX PAYERS DOLLARS and going home while getting paid "good clean cop" - then YEP he wins 1st prize!

It'll all come out & when it does I hope he has to pay all that OT money he collected while NOT WORKING & claiming he was back!!!

Well deserved, you sure seem to know information on an officer many don't? Are you the one who felt you needed to contact the media? It's obvious with our Chief of police not commenting he didn't contact the media. Here's some advice and mind your own business.

Public information and the Chief cant comment since its under investigation - thats common sense! Unfortunately this is PUBLIC business now - not from me. Thank the media!!!

Just a concerned citizen - thanks though....

All the other police officers that were caught double dipping & getting paid were broadcast in the media. He isn't any different or more special than them. He can face the music just as they had to. Obviously he was previously demoted for some reason. I'm sure it wasn't because he was being a stand up officer. Think about it.

i can't wait til the truth comes out, but the public will never know the real truth because of all the dirty liars that work in Chas. P.D. some of the city cops need to be in jail today but they have the Mayor he is just as dirty as the chief.

If they got paid more maybe they wouldn't double dip and moonlight to pay bills and buy food. Sad they have to do what they can to get by like most of us. This world is going to shit, sad but true.

Here's a suggestion.. How about we let the investigation take place and you all quit bad mouthing him? Let's remember he has kids that don't need to be seeing him being put down by gossip or rumors. If you are 100% sure of the accusations you're slinging, then feel free to comment... But don't hide behind a screen name, claim it. Grow up, people.

oh bull you know he is guilty or the liars up in the court house will make up some kinda lie. i have kids and i work 2 jobs to take care of my family i don't have to double dip. They know what their pay is when they got the job.

Police thinks they can get by with crime, and some do but sooner or later you will be caught.

Let's see: cause the last time I checked lying is NOT the proper way to "compensate" as you said for lack of salary. Already being demoted previously gives a pretty big clue that something isnt right!

Double-dipping is ILLEGAL sorry sweetie! This is now Public knowledge period!
