I do unplug my toaster as a matter of fact. Do you unplug yours? I actually keep mine in the pantry when it's not in use. I had an accident when I was a child with a coffee pot and had the whole coffee pot fall on me...the water melted the sweater I was wearing into my skin. I am very careful about leaving anything I could get burned on out.

I'm also curious as to who the hell this Anonymous person is...saying they are from Greenville and replying to something meant for me...WTF!

<quoted text>Everyone has their opinion and has the right to type what they like. Perhaps if her family reads this and it upsets them, maybe they shouldn't read it! However, maybe they should turn it around and talk about what the causes of being CARELESS can do! She's lucky she didn't kill someone else too!
I don't agree that people should have the right to type rude comments to other people or to degrade other people. People do NOT have the right to judge we are all imperfect we all make mistakes. There is only one judge.
And btw oldtimer birds of a feather DO flock together and I am grateful for our flock you are welcome to pray for MIssy and flock with us.

I ride all the time on private property all seasons with no helmet with booze in my system but I know my limit. I do the same in state land but with a helmet. I have been hurt plowing snow, fell thru ice, hit a tree causing my machine to roll on its side and having bruised ribs due to that. Hell at one time I was riding with full gear with some friends with nothing but a gut full of lunch and coffee and I had a small twig somehow manage to go between my helmet and mask and go right up my nose making for a bad nose bleed.
.....so?....duhhh

Get over it, it's called freedom of speech.

Oh..c'mon now, don't be mad. You don't even know me. I am happily married for 10yrs now. I only pretend to be a ho. I don't want to get nasty, your right. I just wanted to let people know that Missy is a good girl and thats all. she's in a coma. did you know that? oh I know she did it to herself, and i'm sure when she wakes up she'll be kickin' her own ass. This is exactly why the news coverage sucks. They just have to have something to report...anything, they don't even care what it is or what the truth is just as long as they are the FIRST to report it. so anyway old timer, my beef really isn't with you...just most of society. Please accept my apologies for my "nastiness". HAGN!!

Old Timer makes a good point. We have the right to freedom of speech. We have the right to say what we want. And many people wouldn't say what we say online to people in their face.

The thing that many people forget about the freedom of speech angle is that we have a responsibility to act in a decent manner. Those who do not act in a decent manner adversly affect their relationships. Home, work ect. It's human nature and our tolerance of this is getting lower and lower.

Sometimes the "right" we should excercise is biting our tongue.

It's like in the days of the old cb radio, certain people were big enough to knock the snot out of king kong even though they only stood 4'9" tall, after meeting up with a few of them you sit back and just about die laughing your head off.
