Oregon Governor Promises Search And Rescue Changes
“I talked to the governor at one point. I do appreciate that he pulled together a task force to try to make improvements for future cases.”
Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski said Wednesday he'll push to make sure that recommendations from a task force on search and rescue operations are implemented, including providing money for training rescue leaders. via Foxreno.com

It's nice the governor is going to find money to track down ignorant out-of-staters who try driving closed back roads in the winter time, but the schools are still going to hell in a handbasket and half the counties in Oregon can't afford to have patrol deputies out after 2AM. But hey, anything to make rich Californians happy, right?
How about also adding to the state law that those rescued have to foot the bill of the rescue too? Oh no, that might make Oregon look tourist unfriendly.

With out Californians money,Oregon would have alot less.we better protect them. Think again.
