Sometimes innocent people die. Keeps down the population. She may have been a good girl, she may have been a waste of skin. Who knows. Wonder what kind of grade she got on her senior project? Sounds like she may have gotten an 'F'.

Good grief. That's right up there with the guy who swears he will never die from a cigarette and then goes out and gets run over by a Marlboro truck.
Does Marlboro really have trucks?

<quoted text> tsk tsk .. I didn't defend the bastard drunkard, I advocate prohibition dim wit couldn't you read that between the lines,(minding others business)as long gays can't get married or marijuana is illegal I think lets do a real justice and get rid of the booze.. it is not needed , it is not safe it grosses profits and heart ache at a much higher rate than some of the most looked down on behaviors or vices. I believe if you want to drink, fine but if you get drunk and hurt others , your wife or child, parent or some stranger on the roadway you are a danger to humanity, booze fuels everything bad. Note I also suggested the device that disables cars from even starting, wonder why no one likes that. Let me tell ya, no one wants to give up their own escape(drunk) and they surely don't want to stand in the way of a belligerent drunk on the prowell ...
Your letter was inneffective as sarcasm. Sorry.
To the point: The maker of the booze was not at fault. The seller of the booze was not at fault. Only one person at fault. The Drunk driver. I don't believe that driving drunk is a right. I believe that Drunk driver's who aren't driving a dying person to the hospital should do 10 years for the first offense,20 for the second, and be put to death for the third. While imprisoned, the drunk driver would work 8-10 hours a day at a job to pay for his time sobering up.
There is no reason to drive drunk, and as soon as lawmakers grow some testicles and make truelly effective punishment for murderers and attempted murderers(drunk drivers that escaped without killing anyone),we will do NOTHING to stop these social outcasts. To do something that can kill innocent people that is so easilly avoided is criminal, and we should treat the scumbags as such.

I'm usually just a sarcastic bastard, but this is one thing that I could kill a person for. When I was a kid, I watched a drunken father run over his daughter. I about killed him. I have no remorse for it at all. If I have company and they drink, they stay the night in the guest room. All of my friends have adopted the idea.
It's the most avoidable cause of death in the world. I have NO respect for anyone who drives drunk or high. That's why I hate George W Bush. Drunk and Cocaine using driver.

In some countries, drunk driving is punishable by death, just for the act itself much less if you hurt or kill someone. They have almost no drunk driving in those countries.(Greece, Iran to name a couple) You actually get one chance in Greece. They take you 25 miles out of town, and walk you back for the first one. Second one is death. Iran is death for first offense. Our laws are not deterrents. Death is always a good one however.

I doubt Geo has driven drunk for many decades now. But I have adopted the same plan as yours to keep my friends & family from driving after drinking. We have never had to explain our policy twice, and it works. I have lost a grandfather, and two friends to drunk drivers. Maybe we should equip all autos to gauge whether or not you have been drinking, and if you have, and got behind the wheel anyway, it just releases poison gas, and eliminates a scumbag.

Where do you people come up with this crap. The last time someone was executed in Greece was 1972. As for Iran, you're not allowed to drink there let alone drink and drive. They also execute children who have been victims of rape so this is a brilliant model for us to follow.
