The drive downtown was pretty decent. However, the roads are definitely worse than they were yesterday. Saw a couple people get stuck turning off 31 onto side streets.

I was forced off to the side by a truck with a plow because he couldn't drive straight (coming from the other direction). I would have likely been stuck, too, if I didn't have a 4x4.

Other than getting stuck behind someone who refused to drive anywhere but dead center of US 31, my fellow drivers weren't too bad this morning.

They did a much better job this time. Too bad they don't do this well every storm. I drove someone to the airport at 6am and the only issue I had was in my apartment complex.

I agree. roads were passable. I have a 4x4 though. We had more trouble getting out of our driveway than going down the streets.

I had no problem yesterday or today and I have a front wheel drive Saturn. I was thru Branywine, crystal lakes and barrington east yesterday evening and had no problems even though most of the roads in BW and CL where not plowed. THe main roads where pretty decent. Good Job City of Greenwood

The city just plowed my residential street again today, and the pavement looks clear and dry. Great service by the city of Greenwood, they've been up to the task for many years now.

Those of us without 4 wheel drive can't even get out of our subdivisions. Thanks for nothing, Greenwood. Sure do hope I still have a job after the spring thaw so I can pay those worthwhile city taxes.

For two days now I have had to call off work because I couldnt even get out of my driveway. I hired a man to come and clean off my drive this morning, and with a 4X4 truck he had an awful time getting the snow moved cause the streets were so bad and hadnt been plowed in this whole storm. Finally, a Greenwood sanitation truck came around at about 5 plowing a single lane through my subdivision, and covered my driveway back up with a three foot wall of snow. After spending $50.00 to get my drive plowed and now its blocked again, you can bet that my vote wont go to the current Greenwood mayor in the next vote. 48 hours of being stranded, $50.00 for a plow job that was botched up in less than 9 hours and subdivison streets that arent passable doesnt line this mayor up for a repeat seat in office in my opinion.
