One word NAFTA Your screwed every time with it. Isn't our kids safety enough to resend this mess. Let's just see if any of our so called politicians will take this under consideration and get the ball rolling to do something about letting big business run over the people. Our kids safety depends on it.

Are you kidding me with this. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!! Its not small pox or polio for God's sake. The evening news is treating this like some sort of deadly plague. Settle the hell down!! Your kid will live.
This is the kind of product you get when you deal with sub-standard laws and labor practices

wonder why the thread for this story was deleted - or restarted? New day?

Well this certainly seems like an overreaction UNLESS your child has chewed off paint in large quantities...but I doubt if that's the case.

(BTW, I dont think China was included in the NAFTA treaty since they're not in North America)

I think the Chinese are our unknown terrorists! Think about it, 90% of the recalled (for health & safety) products come from China.
First they tried to kill our pets, now they are killing and retarding our kids, next time it will be something to get rid of all the women or cause birth defects.

See what happens when we outsource everything!
Bring the jobs back to the states, there are PLENTY of people that need the work.

I do consider it a deadly plage when faced with the consequences of my child having lead poisoning. Lead poisoning occurs with no obvious symptoms and frequently goes unrecognized. It can cause irreversible learning disabilities and behavioral problems and, at very high levels, seizures, coma, and even death. Lead poisoning can cause Autism or your child can be mistakenly diagnosed as ADHD instead of having lead poison. If you don't care about your child's health and safety then so sad for them but most parents are concerned for the well being of their children.

You American people whine too much. Your dummy kids eat paint, so what? Wait till you find out what we put in your mouthwash!

We send lead paint to North Korea all the time and say it food! They eat it on ceral like milk and they okay! Except for Kim Jong Il... he goofy looking even for Asian dude.
