Yeah, but it probably won't last long. I've already read in the paper that his lawyer is crying about how wrong it is that their employees are losing their jobs....I've got news, Adnan "Adam" Hassan doesn't give a shit about his employees. I know this from experience. He is an arrogant, sexist, thieving dirtbag who is only trying to use them to keep his ship from sinking. He's known for a loooooong time that the dealer commission and the AG were on to him, if he was worried about anything but his money, he'd have stopped that shit long ago.

He got a year but was put on probation. Also, the KY Vehicle Commission extended their deadline to March 15th. Make sure you call Carlos Cassady at the Commission and let him know we want this criminal out of business for good.

I think it is about time they did something about this sleezy business. I am hoping they shut the doors forever. And FREE Loans, why can't AMERICANS get FREE Loans!!! I agree, he is selfish, arrogant and LOW CLASS. How many people did HE really rip off? I feel sure he will just open another business under another name. We need one way tickets to his home country, can we all say Deportation???

Buyers Beware. Buy American.

If enough people made their opinion known to the Vehicle Commission or AG's office, instead of just here on topix, it would certainly help get that done.

People HAVE filed formal complaints. With the courts & with the BBB. It is all on line. The reason that they are/were still in business is LAWYERS! AND that the higher the form of government, the slower they move.
They also ignored a couple of circut court orders & did NOT pay judgements against them to people that they swindled. HARD jail or prison time should be involved here but their LAWYERS will likely keep them free.
Many Lawyers are like hookers, Pay the $$ & someone gets screwed!!

I could hardly agree more. Even if a lawyer is defending someone that is truly innocent, with what they charge, the defendent still gets screwed. Even if they get off. IF they don't get set free for whatever reason, they are DOUBLE SCREWED! Like Shakespear said, "kill the lawyers". Unfortunately, they are needed. What Irony!!

True, some have complained and at least a couple who did and took the time to testify in the AG's case received refunds. But by no means have the number of complaints equaled the number of actual victims. And complaining to the BBB, though advisable, does not have the same advantages as complaining to enforcement agencies. As for jail time, their offenses are civil in nature, not criminal (usually) and therefore not subject to confinement.

U R right, the BBB has little to no enforcement power but their records show that World, has ignored a circut court order to pay out to at least 2 parties that were CHEATED on financing & that World did NOT pay. All a public record.
IF more parties reported to the BBB, the list of publicized complaints would likely be 3 or 4 times longer that what they have now.
More buyers should be more inquisitive using the internet.
