New women's shelter proposed in Watertown
Wanting to know more about how it would affect their neighborhood, neighbors learned Thursday evening about a 20-bed women's shelter that the Victims Assistance Center of Jefferson County has proposed for a site on Breen Avenue.

I think that it's a good idea that they grab another house or two if possible. This town definately needs more places for homeless woman or that of the domestic violence relationships. I know from living in the Woman's Shelter that is already in place that it's not easy and people get turned down quite a bit because there isn't enough space or beds.
