Why not hire that David Whitlock?
Think of all that experience and then he isn't afraid to shoot people.

I stopped by Liquor Outlet yesterday. I saw a white guy with a big fat black hog of a woman and a half breed kid. I thought of you James.

I think Fischer needs to look internal for a canidate but do not close your eyes to the fact that to be a world class city like he wants so bad he needs a world class chief. he needs someone who unlike White is not looking to better deal us at the first chance he gets. Im sure there are some good cops out there that want this job, Hope he takes his time and gets a good one.

Chief White was nothing more than an appeasement (token) for black people after the rash and sometimes wrongful shootings of young black men in the late 90s to early 2000 by Louisville Police officers! Chief white understood this, he knew he was nothing more than a buffer between LMPD and the black community. Some in power felt he out lived his usefulness, actually many (black & white) officers are glad to see him go.

I agree that many police officers are ready to see him go. From the few i have spoken to he has been horrible for morale but for some reason both Mayors totally loved him. I just hope that they get a good chief with a good community background.
