Ireland wasn't an expansion, just a makeover. Italy was.

I miss Hastings. It was better than Ireland.

An expansion of any kind would be great. Just about every weekend last fall the park filled to capacity and you could'nt get in after 4-5PM.

Agreed - I miss Hasting too. I remember BG back in the late 1970's when it was only about $5 to get in.

Agree. When Ireland started, the best thing was Jack, the first guy actually sang. It's all prerecorded now and nowhere near as good.

Awesome! Just What I wanted to hear! BGE was bound to have a new attraction in 2009...but it was uncertain whether it would be a coaster or a new country. Well. there we go, it's a new country, most likely going in the former Drachen Fire area to the left of the Festhaus in Germany! Can't wait!

Your wife has been treated like crap for 16 years and still works there?Must not be too bad. Or perhaps she likes being treated like crap? Perhaps there is a pattern here? How long has she been married to you?

I'm glad they are expanding and all but gee, how much is it going to be to get into the park now?$100 for a day pass? I mean I'm glad we live close and have season passes but I dont know how these family vacationers afford a trip there for the day.

That would be so cool! They need more coasters. Our Busch Gardens is neat but Tampa Florida is my favorite one! This is good news.

Howl-o-scream is good. I was very disappointed that they 'baby-fied' the train last year. The songs they played on the train ride were more horrendous than the ride itself. They got stuck in your head. My favorite is the bush-men:(they jump out at you near the wolves). Some of the visitors are scarier than the displays. I wish that they would bring the old train ride back-it had a truely gross scene with a chainsaw and something 'wet' squirted you when you went by. The clowns in Italy freak me out but my daughter goes up and says HEY to them. She isnt the slightest bit scared. Does anyone have any opinions about the Halloween show at Kings Dominion? We have been talking about going to see it. BG opens March 21st but there is a preview day for pass holders on March 16th with a picnic and stuff-you have to register for it. Hope to see ya all there-I'll be in line for Griffin(I didnt get to ride it last year).
