You're out of your minds, they will close the place down, and then you will be bagging for food from the union and asking them to pay your bills, you guys need to get your heads out of your butt, trying getting a real job like other people and work for a living

Yea guys, get a real job in Jackson County making about 20K per year if you are lucky. Health benefits you ask, don't worry about that because a bunch of us don't have any and don't worry about premium payments going up either. Yes sir, it's great out here in the real world. Vacations at the river front park, dining with the family at the kitchen table enjoying deer meat, beans and rehydrated taters. Yum, yum...and wash all that down with a bottle of water you filled from the tap. Life is a gamble when you are poor. My family enjoys those live on the edge maypop outings. That is where you load the entire family up and head down the road on your bald car tires. Go around a curve and tell em all to hang on because one of them bologna skins maypop any time. Come on boys..go on strike and we will all have a big party at Turkey Run Lake and celebrate the good life! I will kill a deer and we will roast it on an open fire and if we are LUCKY maybe we can catch some of them glowy grave yard fish us poor folks enjoy eating. It makes for a fun game of hide and seek in the dark and is all free.

I love how people can judge when they are not in these men shoes!! So you would say yes to a contract if you were told that you would not get a raise of any kind! Then you would have to pay $3000 dollar per person deductible! Plus $500 a month out of pocket for insurance! Well if you would say yes to that then you are as stupid as the people who wrote the contract!!

If I had no education or skills, and my union already closed the other plant and sent any other factories considering locating here running away, yes. These people are being asked to pay HALF what the rest of the country does. Plus they get 4k in cash up front, no strings attached. Close it down. I laughed my ass off at all the trucks and 4 wheelers for sale after the idiots shut down century. I could use new 4 wd truck. Ill check the ad bulletin in a few months and get a great deal. Need to start a repo business in ravenswood.

Who gets a raise now days? I mean seriously. That is what we are trying to tell you people. We wish we were in these mens shoes and had the choice and the income they have. You guys are like the government bubble in Washington DC. You just don't get it do you? We are all turning 3rd world country and your ship is going down too. Why break the hole out bigger and sink faster?

This is how everyone feels these days. In 91, everyone hated scabs. In today's economy, the town folk will jump on those jobs and the 900 idiot union members can jackrock all they want - sooner or later they won't be able to afford nails.

It used to be that corporate responsibility meant doing the right thing toward employees and communities. Now corporate responsibility means increasing profitability for shareholders. That's it. Companies these days can't afford to care about their impact on the community. When an uneducated, unskilled workforce strikes at a factory that loses money, its like paking their bags up for 'em.

Unemployment benefits are only available if they are locked out. If they choose to strike while the company is willing to let them come in to work they will recieve no unemployment benefits. They twisted it back in 91 and the company wasn't prepared for the issue of unemployment being an option. Garuntee it won't be the same this time!

The men who were "locked out" in '91 were NOT entitled to unemployment! That is definitely wrong and was wrong and is wrong - and in more ways than one too!!!
