Wolf Creek gets treated like (I hope I do not offend anyone) the red-headed step child of Josephine County. Before all the budget cuts, we could not get the Sheriff's Office to respond even then. I once called five years ago to report domestic violence. They told me if the victim wanted to report something, they had to come to the Sheriff's Office in Grants Pass - they were not responding.

Something like this shooting happens once in a blue moon here. It is not violent up here. It is a good community to raise a family in ... but we hope everyone out there ignores these facts so we can keep it that way.
