Concerned in Medford

I am wondering why there are no charges to the adults that were with Michael Reel, the 17 yr old, that stabbed a man in Hawthorne park. They were with him, and they have contributed greatly to his delinquincy by sharing their alcohol and illegal drugs with him. It is sad to see that a homeless youth was taken in by the wrong type of people. I spoke to one of the adults that claims to have made a family tie with Michael and asked him if he was concerned at all with what may happen to this young man. Much to my dismay, all he could say was, "that's his problem". His "road dogs", as they like to call themselves, were there watching the whole incident. From what I have come to understand they offered no assistance to the victim, nor did they tell their little "road dog" to calm down. Michael Reel is a teenager that should have been at home with his parents, instead of running around with Medford's homeless criminals that only look out for their ownselves. I am not saying that what he has done is right, I just feel that the adults involved should be responsible for contributing to his poor choices, afterall they did encourage him to get high, drink, and be violent. Yes, I said it. I know it to be a fact. And what a scary situation it is to live on the west side of Medford. This is the same group of homeless people that were aquainted with the man that killed someone else in the park earlier this year. I suppose somehow they truly are like dogs; they run in a pack and they have gone wild. Wild in the idea that they do not have to have any respect for society, the law, or even other people in the park or surrounding areas. I also know that another man was arrested for a probation violation, while he was with Michael Reel, because he had marijuana in his possession. Why wasn't the fact that the man arrested was with a minor in question at the time of that incident?
