McKay, Leach get into shouting match at supervisors meeting, police back up called in

There are 28 comments on the The South Mississippi Sun Herald story from Dec 3, 2007, titled McKay, Leach get into shouting match at supervisors meeting, police back up called in. In it, The South Mississippi Sun Herald reports that:

“I asked a legitimate question. I'm not going to say another word to him.”

Jackson County supervisors Frank Leach and John McKay got into a shouting match Monday and wouldn't stop until the board president called a recess that separated the two and cleared the board room.

If you havn't seen the flyer concerning Butch Loper in todays Sun Herald, I strongly urge you to get one. This just put the icing on the cake for Butch Loper.

I firmly believe that Butch Loper will "work for all the people of District 5 and Jackson County. He will not be obligated to or influenced by the "elite" or special interest groups".

I definitely am for a positive change for my District and truly feel that is what we have in Butch Loper. Come on folks, isn't it time that we all pull together and elect OUR candidate instead of the "big money" candidate???

From: John Mckay

I have chosen to run a positive campaign. Unfortunately, my opponent chooses the negative route. He accuses me through flyers and TV commercials of only serving the "elite" and "special interest groups". Well, my friends, he is correct

So, it seems that Madame Linda McKay doesn't get to be First Lady of Ocean Springs. Excuse me while I celebrate Moran's victory -- A LOT!

Praise the Lord and Frank Leach for keeping her out of City Hall.I commend Mr. Leach for coming forward and reminding us of John McKay's volatile temper.
