Jackson commissioners set goals for next year

Current and newly elected Jackson County commissioners set their goals for 2009 this week in a daylong work session at Hurricane Shoals Park.

"In addition to their planning goals, the commissioners aim to build a closer relationship with the board of the Jackson County Water and Sewer Authority and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce."
DOES THIS MEAN MAYSVILLE MIGHT FINALLY HAVE WATER PRESSURE IN THE PIPES TO HUNDREDS OF HOMES???? HOPEFULLY!

It may help if Jackson County make representation again to stop all the water South of the Chattahoochee going to Florida, then you may have enough water to have sufficient pressure. Seems to me that Fla has Ga by the goolies (English slang word for the Male genetalia) How can a State that is coverd on 3 sides say they need water, how can a Mussel be nmore important than people? When I flew over Lanier in the summer I was appalled at the even lower levels that I have seen each year for the last 6 or so..I hope and pray that your water pressure is sorted, otherwise I think you need to be electing some new authorities.

our water here comes out of the tap like mud and we can not do any thing about it, we can not live with out water, we have a new born baby who needs that water, our water is being sold to other states for a price and our BOC fights over water everyday for money, it is not about us, it is about the money, if GA can make money they will. they are hungery for it, ha! the bible belt of all good, people go hungrey, do with out alot of things and now could do with out water, because it means money for the money hungrey people that have money.

wouldn't it be nice if the mayor and council had planning sessions where they established some goals for the upcoming year? probably wont happen anytime soon.
