a police officer should know better than make those bad choices. i used to work with him and he would brag about pulling people over and taking their pills or anything of that sort .he also would show everyone that he could stick a whole bananna down his throat. that might help him out in jail.i also know for a fact that he cheated on his wife every chance he got.
All this BS

Ha Ha!!!! God I hope they start checkin up on Scottsboro Police too!!! Theres a couple of them thats doin ALOT worse than ryan did!!! But still its hilarious he got caught! We were at Wildhorse Saloon before they closed down and he used to run off and shack up with 400 pound buffalo women lol. I feel sooooo bad for his wife, she deserves better. I dont know her really, but she seems like a smart and pretty girl. I pray she finds someone who is faithful and treats her right.

Bill, I checked out your website. I want to start by informing you that I am a police officer, and have been for quite a few years. I also want to tell you that I do not, nor have I ever lived in Stevenson, but I grew up and lived most of my life on Sand Mountain very near there. I am not sure why you think that the officers there need to go to jail, but I think I can give you an explanation for the rise in crime statistics over the past 30 years. Methamphetamine is responsible for a rise in crime rates all over the southeast. This is particularly true in mostly rural mostly white communities. Urban communities, and communities with large minority populations have been dealing the scourge of illicit drug abuse for years (thanks to freebase cocaine or crack). See crack really hit the black communities hard in the early '80's, and while there are probably as many white users of crack as there are blacks, it is most often sold by black males and falls into a large portion of their socio-economic makeup. However, methamphetamine began weaving its way into the white communities just over the past few years. It had always been around, just as freebase cocaine had always been around, but a large influx and ability to manufacture it with such ease, has really caused problems in areas such as Stevenson, where there have never really been problems associated with large scale drug abuse. Now, this is my theory as I deal with this problem daily in a county that has more than it's fair share of drug abuse and other criminal activity associated with it. Before blaming the police for everything, step back and take a look at the community as a whole. The police can't solve this problem alone. The community together can help too.
