Ironton man sentenced for animal abuse

A man from rural Ironton was sentenced to six years in prison on animal abuse and assault charges, said R. Scott Killen, Iron County Prosecuting Attorney.

He should have gotten more time for this. If you go to the www.ksdk.com website, you can see pictures of the horse. They should have put his picture there also, so we know what the coward looks like. What kind of person does something like this? I am sure this isn't the first act of violence he committed. Very sad.

Of all the men in the world, you choose to love a drunk abusive coward! That's what I think. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just like everyone is entitled to love who they want to love. You have chosen to love a drunk, pathetic excuse for a human being. Seriously! What kind of loser gets drunk, decides to drive (when they do not even have a drivers license because it was taken away for being a drunk), gets into a wreck, hurts someone and then leaves the scene? I won't even get into the rest, but dragging a helpless animal behind an ATV? Taking the time to tie it up and then drag it? That tops it off. If I had the chance, I would do the same thing to him. He is a piece of sh*t!
I hope one day you somehow wise up - which I doubt you are capable of. But I do hope you wise up and find someone who is going somewhere other than the slammer and the liquor store.

"2nd times a charm" means this is the 2nd time this idiot has done something like this. The first time, he forgot that he had tied his horse to the outside of the horse trailer before he went into the bar and drug the horse's feet off before being stopped by police. That horse had to be put down. I agree w/ enraged...drunk, abusive coward...HANG HIM HIGH!!!
