Maybe you ought to read up on things instead of just blogging on sheer emotion... The proposal about amending the LIMITS of stem cell research actually reads:
The proposed constitutional amendment would:
-Expand the use of human embryos for any research permitted under federal law subject to the following LIMITS:
The embryos:
-are created for fertility treatment purposes.
-are not suitable for implantation or are in
rare excess of clinical needs
-would be discarded unless used for research
-were donated by the person seeking
fertility treatment
-Provide the stem cells cannot be taken from human embryos more than fourteen days after cell division begins.
-Prohibit any person from selling or purchasing any human embryos for stem cell research.
-Prohibit state and local news that prevent, restrict or discourage stem cell research, future therapies and cures.
----------
There... you see how easy it is just to put it out there and let people decide for themselves rather than spreading half-to-no-truth soundbytes?
P.S. Hope no one you want to have hang around comes down with lukemia anytime soon - what with your attitude.
