Are authorities sure that Barb is actually responsible and if so, that she acted alone? Would hate to see someone's life and reputation ruined if she is not responsible.Several articles say that money had been missing over several years, that township workers couldn't figure out where it was going? Shouldn't they be held responsible for not reporting this sooner? Isn't that usually considered being an accomplice-if a crime is happening and not reported, especially for so, so long. Shouldn't everyone who was aware that money was going missing, also be responsible for the legal and financial ramifications? Shouldnt those who were aware but did nothing also have to pay back some of the money to the township? Why should innocent taxpayers get stuck paying tax money again, when their elected officials appear to have just ducked their public trust? Perhaps a recall might be in order as well.
