Why does it seem everytime there is a rollover accident, its a Ford Explorer ? Are the drivers of that vehilce too cheap to buy decent tires for it , or are they just bad drivers? Too much of a coincidence ........

This is very sad, but why were 8 people in an Explorer. And why were children out at 3:30am? So tragic.

Juan Paublo Morales Rodriguez adn his family just raked up another $300,000 in medical bills for the citizens of the U.S. tax payers to pay. It is obvious this had to be a spanish family or a Hatian Family. This country can not continue to foot the bill of these ignorant people. Sad thing is now they will probably say the tire blew out and sue everybody from the state to the tire company and settle for a Million.

I agree. Afterall, the sole purpose of an automobile is for it to be used in an accident and kill people. OWNING ONE IS JUST ASKING FOR TROUBLE!!!

Explorers can have the third row seat and can easily accomodate 8-9 people if half are children. Not to wear seatbelts, however, is ignorant. We travel to Orlando a lot and I've seen some bad rollovers with yellow tarps around. If they were all ejected and had only one fatality, they were lucky.

Nine people in an Explorer and no one wearing a seat belt. What is wrong with the adults...how stupid can they be? Their actions are almost criminal.

We have GOT to get rid of auto vehicles. That is a given. There just simply is NO OTHER solution that will deal with the severe problems that America is faced with. With that fact being said, the NEXT question I'm always asked is: Okay, how do we accomplish that? Answer: Public Mass Transportation. But it MUST be QUALITY Public Mass Transportation. It must be done with a flair for excellence. People MUST be able to get to practically anywhere they need to go. And they MUST be able to get there in a VERY reasonable amount of time. Because it is Public MASS Transportation (with the operatve word here being "MASS", indicating MASSIVE, HUGE), it is safe, reliable, comfortable, fun, and efficient. The idea would be to have private auto vehicles be replaced with QUALITY Public Mass Transportation. Notice I said "PRIVATE auto vehicles". You know--the kind like a lot of people have two or three of sitting in their driveways and garages. The idea is that there would still be ambulances, fire trucks, and some police cars and delivery trucks, etc., but that is about all. There would be buses and taxicabs as part of the Public Mass Transportation, so they would be part of the new idea. To do all this would require that we CAN NOT "cave in" to the "big political machinery". We (taxpayers, consumers, citizens, sensible people) would have to steadfastly INSIST on certain things for it all to work.

You sure have a very bizarre perspective of what is "lucky". Perhaps you should go back and read the news article again on what happened.

And if "Explorers can ........ easily accomodate even just ONE person" then that is ONE person too many.

I think he does. His argument is that if we all drove buses, there would be no crashes.
