It is a fact that active officers have thick internal affairs files. Defendants and their family members will complain to the department to proclaim their innocence in an attempt to tarnish the reputation of these good hard working law enforcement officers. Politics always plays to the public. It’s all about the VOTES. Meanwhile the bad guy laughs at the system while he gets away with murder. I see it every day. As an officer, the harder you work the more you and your family suffer. No one appreciates a cop until they’re a victim. Florida treats their cops like crap. The hours suck, the pay sucks and the retirement sucks. It’s because of good police officers that the general public can sleep safe at night. Support your police like your life depends on it, because it dose. Good Luck Dave. Your friends from NY.

on august 12, 2009, my mother, a 51 year old woman battling with bipolar suicidal tendecies, was charged with criminal mischief for tearing open 2 boxes of ink cartridges. my 14 yr old stepsister put them in her pocket unbeknownst to my mother. when the cops arrived at walmart in sebastian, they had thhem to empty their pockets. my mother had only the cartridge she brought in the store with her, my stepsister had the 2 stolen ink cartridges. they gave my mother back her old cartridge and charged her with criminal mischief, and my stepsister was charged with petit theft. that is what happened. on sept. 3rd, 2009, my mother was informed that the criminal mischief was dropped and she was being charged with petit theft. and because of that, my mother has now tried to kill herself. she never took anything. she has been trying to do good for herself. she even went back to school at irsc. she needs 23 more credits for her aa but the meds she takes wont allow her to stay focus. please if anyone believes in justice and not just us, help shed some light on this false accusation. the video in the store can prove she never took anything. why do is it that people are guilty until proven innoncence? my mom is innoncent this time and she needs support. i have lost too many years out of my mother's life because of jails, drugs and prison. she is a changed woman, even though she is mental and gets a check every month for her disability she deserves a fair chance. i feel like she is being railroaded becasue of her past. i need some feedback on what to do and who to see. i made an appointment with her shrink. but people out there, know that the same thing can happene to you or your loved ones.
