It might be hard on families if kids can't drive. Think how hard it is on them when they kill someone. Make it 21, and retroactive!

A higher driving age is not the answer, period, done with, over. And I am really getting tired of hearing the bullshit that 'teenagers brains aren't mature!" I've seen 50 year olds who have made some FUCKING POOR DECISIONS, so I don't buy that.
I also realize that usually when someone says that someone else is 'immature'... they aren't doing something that that person wants them to do, so they fall back on the old 'immaturity' thing in order to ridicule the other person's decision.
We need to LOWER the age when people start learning to drive. Start teaching children at 12 on motorbikes and gradually increase to cars, trucks and SUV's at 15-16 years old. That will get rid of a lot more driving fatalities for teenagers (which most of them are linked to speed, which adults speed JUST AS MUCH as teenagers do, they just, for some stupid karmic reason, DON'T GET KILLED WHILE DOING IT!).
