It will go to 7% before it turns around. Simple result of crumbling tourism as money problems hit the entire world.

Good time to jack up taxes to spend billions on a train.

I mean, doesn't your family start spending more during hard times? If you lose your job do you run out and buy the most expensive toy ever?

Why should government spending be different?

Wow! Our economy is really in the TANK! We need the governor to do something quick! Oops too late. She's off to visit the Wizard of Odd -- AGAIN. Me thinks our governor wants to wash her hands off of the mess she created.

4.5% is not so bad.

Until you realize in August it was 2.8%.

Yikes.

In Hawaii, everyone that wants a job has a job. The ones not working aren't going to be working a month from now, a year from now, or five years from now. I know kids that arrive here and within two weeks have three good jobs. Who do the lazy people think they are kidding?
The fact is the local no-loads have made themselves unhireable and undesireable. Warrants, criminal history, lost their license, can't pass a drug test, etc. Their best hope is to find a woman dumb enough to share her EBT and section 8 meant for her illegitimate kids, and they don't mind it a bit.
