The way Obama is spending us into bankruptcy it would be good for a lot of us to have a few camping supplies.Tent, wool army coat poncho, boots, etc.

Maybe the Chinese govt will send relief supplies to us since all your mentioned stuff is made there anyway.

Well, the only way to get these items USA made is Surplus,i.e.Army/Navy stores. You still have to watch them sneaking in new China made crap.Note, the old rubberized poncho is a hell of a piece of kit.Ditto for old WW2 era wool greatcoats.Mine is Russian.I paid 19 bucks for it,but that was 20 years ago.

with the thousands of churches in mississippi, why are their any homeless, hungery, or uninsured people at all? if churches did half what they should do all would be taken care of instead of preachers getting rich, driving luxary cars, while they watch their bank accounts grow-its sad to say the least. think about it people, the churches now are refured to as the houses of hippocrites.
I might be inclined to help someone who WOULD WORK if work was available.I would not help the drunk, the drugged,or the lazy.Like the grasshopper in the fable;they can freeze in the snow.

Checked the CL lately? No one is hiring. Unless you are a nurse or truck driver that is. Lets not mention all that most of the stuff is scams anyways. Yeah, there are many who are out because they are drunkards, etc. But, you would be surprised the number out there that do not do any drugs or drink.
And for the "church" comment. Churches do not want that expense. They would rather had add services to bring tithing members! After all, it is a business.
