How the hell could you do this to such an amaising girl. She was so nice and caring and awesome. How could he Do this. I hope he gets the worst punishment. He doesn't deserve the kind little dainty poison. Make him suffer. I hope he rots in hell. I really do. I really fucking do.

It is very sad that you could shoot your own child. After reading further, I think he would have killed your other children if he had the chance. What did his daughter have somehing on him? I pray you never get out of jail... My heart and prayers go out to all the family members.

Ok, Kyle...explain to us why you think it was an accident. I, for one, have sat and given this case MUCH thought, since I read about it. I can tell you WHY He's guilty as HELL, but I don't wanna give you a helping hand. AND, just a simple "because I think he is", or something similar, won't do.

I WILL offer this much of my reason:

She screamed, but the other kids didn't react at what she screamed at. They were in the DARK, running...could she have stepped into a chuckhole, and screamed as she began to fall? That goes a long way to explain why the other two had no reaction to Julia screaming...because there was nothing to respond to...NO PERSUERS, no animals...NOTHING!! If that's what happened, then he couldn't have shot her in the back. She didn't scream until she had already begun to fall, sooo, if he did shoot her, accidently, it couldn't have been in the back.

When Collins FINALLY spoke with 911, he spoke about several cars in the stores lot, buzzing in and out...and "he didn't know what was going on". NO mention of persuer's, OR the fact that his other two kids were in danger of them.

When Collins saw his father and mother, later that morning, he never mentioned someone chasing them. He just asked if the cops had responded to a 911 there.

Collins Sr HAD to notice the scratches, and general dishevelment of their appearance. He HAD to have noticed a certain amount of anxiety...especially the kids. He HAD to have noticed that Julia wasn't with them...and asked, even in passing, where she was. If he didn't KNOW that his son was GUILTY AS HELL, regarding the charges against him, he'd be out there singin' his praise's!! After all, they own a business, and that business is their livelyhood. Truth be known, that same business is probably what paid his bail. Collins Sr would want to make sure people didn't abandon them, because of the horrible rumors.

Oh, and one more thing, then I'll turn it over to you, Kyle:

WHY didn't Collins Jr leave the kids with their grandparents, or their mother, when he went to the police station to turn himself in...OR, before that, even????? Could it be that he was afraid of what they might let slip? Was the truth, as the kids witnessed it, not the same truth that Collins Jr wanted the cops and the general public, to see??? It's not like the investigators weren't going to question the kids, at a later date, and probably in a less stressful atmosphere. Hell, the cops would go to the moon, for info...the ones worth their paychecks, anyway.

Ok, Kyle...convince us that he's innocent of murdering his 14 yo daughter

Hey Kevin...I have a lil test for ya to take, IF you're up to the common sense way of thinkin'. Read the contents FIRST, so it will have the right IMPACT, concerning anxiety caused by people chasing YOU, while you struggle in the DARK, to protect your 3 kids...ok?

Pretend there were people in your group ahead of you, going forward, pretty much, together. Now, while holding the "shotgun", walk, while "watching your back", as they say. NOW, you hear someone in the group scream, and your first reaction, is to fire in their direction, thinking the ones chasing the group, have somehow gotten ahead of you (in a place that you know, like the back of your hand (as we say, here)...a place you've probably roamed, since you were a little kid. STOP in the place you are, RIGHT NOW!! Remember, time is of the essence...there's NO TIME for sportsmanlike accuracy...nor the safety precautions you usually follow to a T! Throw whichever arm you have the shotgun in, around, to allow yourself to shoot in the direction of the scream. Where does your arm aim...unless you have extra-ordinarily long arms? It's not poised high enough to hit someone in the back, is it? Mine wasn't.

'Scuse me...Kyle, not Kevin. I get REALLY geared when I'm discussing these crimes...especially when it concern kids who are the victim(s), and/or the survivors. Young people who understand why things like this happen, less than we adults do. I've been asked online, and in the real world, why I let it bother me so. Well, I'll tell YOU, just what I tell them. I have children, and grandchildren, as well as myself, who may, someday be victimized by someone like Collins Jr. I'd want someone to care enough to ponder our horror, just like I'm doing, concerning Julia.

Do you incompetent idiots really think you've gotten the real story in it's entirety from the TV news reports and a few press releases? Wow... it's people like you who make others look stupid.... and by the way, her name is Judith not Julia, you moron.
