I have a garage full of "good stuff" and would like to sell it. But, I placed an ad on Craig's list and sat there all weekend with about 20 customers, mostly from the neighborhood.
If anyone has a better idea how to get customers, let me know.

IF it's truely "good stuff" take a photo of each item and list it separatly in the "list".

Personally will not drive to see what you have OR for that matter drive to a free posting unless I can know the stuff will be there after burning a bunch of gas. Gas is expensive these days and when you consider it costs $10 to drive anywhere unless the stuff is needed and priced right people won't drive to even pick it up.

However A bit ago nobody would take a set of good but worn out tires I had FOR FREE.

I then put a price of $20 on them on the list and a guy bought them. Many don't think free stuff is worth anything and indeed that is sometimes the case, I have stories to that effect.

You might consider donating your good used stuff to Goodwill, Salvation Army, Courage Center, Epilepsy Society, Disabled Vets, or any of the many charities who resell items. You'll get a receipt for your tax-deductible donations, which won't put money in your pocket now but could help offset your taxes in the spring. Some agencies will even pick up your items for you! I donated a truck load of items last year to the Courage Center this way.

Good luck!
List it on craigslist

List each item you have in a craigslist AD.

People don't respond to garage full of good stuff.

One persons "good stuff" is anothers "junk".

I listed about 6 things on craigslist in the free category - each one seperately. I didn't get past the 4th posting before emails came pouring in. I think that there is a large group of people out there that pick up any and everything they can to resell it.
