These are the kind of rude, entitled punks our public schools are putting out. No respect for anything or anyone.
When the police ask you to do something, you do it. Street 101!
Watch, the rude little brat will get a fist full of taxpayer dollars.

part of how to counter it. is to make sure the kid(s) learn manners at home. offspring who have at least one stay at home parent is more likely to be better at being well mannered. especially if that parent keeps a eagle eye on them.
even the working parent can help. in backing up a good standard of morality.
part of raising well mannered kids. is to remove "kids will be kids" attitude from the parents.
parents who do NOT give in to the kid. when the kid wants something. is teaching the kid restraint.
.
as soon as that kid can talk. make sure they know how to say please, thank you, & you are welcome in any and all situations that require those three lil sayings. and if they forget to use them. remind them. right there and then to use the proper saying.
.
also, when it comes to Authority Figures. how you act towards them. reflects on your kid. this includes what you say either in the car or at home away from AFs. if you are nice to them fact to face. but demean them when they are not around. the kid picks up on that too.

Schools don't "put out" kids. Families do. Sounds like you expect schools to correct your bad parenting.
