Humane Society: Group tries again for government-funded shelter

hartwell needs some sort of shelter for unwanted pets...its a shame how people feel the need to drive their pets to the woods and turn them lose. no food, no water, a slow death...doesn't anyone in office care about this problem? this has been going on for years and years....what about pets tied out in the sun...it just doesn't stop

Hart Co commissioners need to be putting their thousands of dollars towards their own county's humane society.
Instead, they continue to fund, and fight to fund, a humane society in another county - Franklin. Makes no sense. If I were the Hart Co taxpayers, I'd be asking some hard questions of the commissioners. |
