Wilson Campaign Blatantly Violates Sign Etiquette
EAST LIVERPOOL – Tim Ginter, Republican State Senate Candidate for Ohio's 30th District, recently spoke out on “sign etiquette,” and District 30 State Senator Jason Wilson’s disregard for the unwritten rule.
The Ginter Campaign has placed Tim Ginter for State Senate signs up all over the 30th district, and Ginter supporters throughout the five counties have reported Wilson signs blocking Ginter’s signs.“I’ve received calls and emails from all over the district reporting our signs being covered up by Wilson signs,” Ginter said.“On St. Rt. 170 in Calcutta, at the Wal-Mart intersection, we put up two rows of signs, and just a few days later they were covered up by Wilson signs.”
Ginter believes voters have a right to be exposed to every candidate on the November ballot, and says he hopes his Democratic opponent will abide by that belief for the remainder of the race.“I feel like all candidates have a right for people to see and recognize their name and what they stand for,” Ginter said.“I hope Mr. Wilson and his campaign will feel the same from now until Election Day. Whoever did this put a lot of time and effort into it.”
Ohio’s 30th district consists of Columbiana, Jefferson, Harrison, Belmont, and Tuscarawas counties. To find out more information on Tim Ginter and District 30, visit www.timginter.org .
