Wouldn't it be wise to put up a NO SWIMMING SIGN!!! So that it will not be any more drownings at this lake. I am very sadden to know that people are still being drowned here, enough is enough. Kentucky State Parks get it together down there. I hurt for all the familes that have lost love ones in this Lake. Much Love

There are several signs that say "swim at own risk" No lifeguard on duty. People who go there know the risk and if they choose to swim they take a risk of something happening just like any other lake. They can't supervise ever spot on a lake. Sad yes, but people swim at their own risk and should realize things can and do happen

The signs were cut down where they were at. Stupid kids think its cool to cut em and hang em in their rooms. So before you say anything, get the facts. They didn't know it was restricted. Don't say anything about Mckinley, James, or anyone else. I kow if there was a sign, he definately wouldn't have gone down there. And before anyone gets smart, I know they were cut down because I was down there after it happened and I didn't see not a signle sign anywhere there.

It doesn't take much to see that, this lake needs to be shout down. Too many people have drowned, and too many families broken apart from this dangerous lake. And there were not any signs were those young men were jumping, if they were, they sure were not visible. He was really a nice young man, and for his friend James, who went in the water to try to save him, that speaks alot about his character. Not many would have done what he did for his friend. James, you are what a true friend is suppose to be like. God bless this family, and God bless the young man who tried to save him. We need to all wake up, and do something about this lake. What is it going to take??? 20 more drownings.

It's really sad when people start blaming. We have a young man who just died for God's sake. Have some sympathy for his family and friends. It needs to be closed down. What about all the rest of the people that died, that were not jumping in the lake. They drowned and died. So apparently something is not good about this lake. Get some like guards, or build a water park, with supervised life guards or something for our kids.
