Former Constable Danny Hamby collapsed in Circuit Court on Thursday afternoon while entering an open guilty plea before Judge Roger Clark. He was charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine with intent to distribute and with transfer of a controlled substance.
Hamby narrowly missed striking his head on a courtroom table when he lost consciousness and suddenly pitched forward, toppling to the floor. He was resuscitated and, at the request of his mother, given a piece of peppermint. He was allowed to be seated while completing his plea. Read more
