good job aldermen, now I hope you look hard at who to keep and who to let go. Maybe offer some of the detectives to stay and let go the problem children on patrol. Keep the experienced officers.

It only make since to merge Waveland and Bay St. Louis. But that is to practical for the people here to do.
Let us keep the cops and get rid of the aldermen.
We don't need the aldermen, but we do need more than two officers per shift.

Really... You do know that 2 officers per shift is all the Waveland has had since January. Varnell only had 2 per shift, the Aldermen wanted to hire the part-time in addt to full-time and put the part-time on a schedule of 32 hours per week. They do not want to use them as just needed for vacation. The actually want them on a schedule so you will have more than 2 officers per shift.

I don't think you want to get rid of your Alderman, they seem like they are the only ones who care what going on in the City.

Maybe the Bay doesn't want to take on Waveland's problems. Not trying to start a war of words but what would the Bay inherit besides debt?

Did you even bother to read the comment that was made to me that elicited that response from me? If not, I suggest that you have someone with an IQ over room temperature read and explain it to you.

The guy who killed the man on the bicycle?! You have to be kidding me! He's very lazy, as well.

Yes. Russell made an illegal turn and wasn't using his emergency lights when he caused the death of a man on a bicycle. He forgot to turn his emergency lights on?! Waveland PD never forgot to use their taser toys when abusing their power.

We need very extensive background checks, IQ tests and and anger management evaluations before we give these dumb thugs of the Waveland Police Department badges and guns. I hope they can clean up their horrible reputation because the city can't afford anymore of the wpd's antics.
