Hurt named Waveland's new police chief
Waveland has a new police chief. Kenny Hurt, who has been serving as interim chief, was tapped for the post at Tuesday night's city aldermen meeting.Full Story

you have to be kidding!!!!! Mr. Hurt who can't find his way to the porty potty. I guess David G. has his man in. That is wrong for David Allen he worked hard to keep things going during the problem times.

Why don't you make a public statement as to your outrage at such a travisty?
I suggest you do like the monks in Nepal do to protest the government.....go to a very public place, pour gas on your body and set yourself on fire....I assure you of 2 things, 1) you will get on the news and 2) you will bring attention to your protest!!

I agree, David Allen should have had first shot. He has in the past and currently does a great job. I just hope he hangs in with Waveland. He is an asset that we can not afford to lose.

Say Whaaat that is a good one, but i do agree a little on the David Allen matter. He did work hard to keep the place going, and made it a easy transistion for Kenny. Kenny will do good, we have to give him the chance hell its a lot better than what we had to live with for 20 years. Gas good idea.
