Hell he had the chance to do the right thing.
It doesn't change that we were paying his salary and he couldn't be responsible. He should pay the full price for his actions. They should be especially hard on him because he WAS a cop.
He should have been better with his money and his wife. It's all his own fault.
Whatever happened to personal responsibility??
There you go judging without knowing the facts. Are you aware of the the fact that his elderly mother moved in with him 8 months ago. His wife has major medical problems and cannot work. Although, she worked 2 jobs for 10 yrs. Are you aware that he was supporting a family of 5 on a income that does not pay for a family of 5? Are you aware that in the 14 yrs they have been married that between his 2 kids and his wife and him they have had 11 surgeries? You don't know this family. I do and they are the knid of people that helped everyone. They would stay in a gas station and wait for someone to quit pumping their gas and pay for it and leave before they knew who did it. They have had several people who had no place to live stay in their house until they could do it on their own. He may have made a big mistake. We hear only part of the story. I am by no means saying that "if" he did these things that he was right. I do know that good people make mistakes. None of know what we would do if felt backed into a corner and especially being a man that felt he could not take care of his family. Why not pray for all in the situation instead of judging. Leave that to God as it says in the bible
