Ohh boo hoo.....he said to wait, no he said not to wait, no he said we could have it, no he said he didn't want it. Sounds like 4 year olds fighting over a toy car. The city should realize that the county looked at 7 million vs. 40 million dollars. Who do you think won that? Of course the county BOC took the 40 million from CCA. And the city council thought the county BOC would in any way support the best thing for the city. The city council continues to do what it wants to do and has no regard for the BOC'c wishes, then acts surprised when the county disregards the wishes of the city. It is politics at it's worst. Until the BOC and Council are called on the dirty deals and back room bargains things will continue to get worse.
Amazing enough the only person standing up for transparency, open hearings, and fair treatment of the people is Ashley Bell. The new kid on the block is making waves still and continues to call for the other children on both the BOC and Council to try and act like adults and tell the truth for once.
