I have had the chance of knowing this woman and her entire family. My opinion on her and everyone I met related to her was very violent, so it does not suprise me that this has happened. My life was threatened personnaly by people closely related to her so it does not suprise me this has happened. This lady is obviously guilty and she probably did not work alone to set this up. I pray she is put behind bars where she belongs.

I think the case is very slim on actual evidence. But when the Ex husband testified to his gun encounter with this woman almost 20 years earlier, it put it over the top for me.

So you are saying the fact that her aliby is no good. Her .38 caliber handgun is gone that she had. The samples of wig in her truck, her son even saying it looks like his mother, and the fact she told one of her cell mates she did it and how. The only reason I really know she did it is because she told her family soon after and they arrested her son right after it happened. The family member she told said in exact words to me "I don't know why they arrested Steven for this when Joanna did it." It did not dawn on me until about 4 weeks ago. Joanna was not even a suspect to my knowledge at the time I was told this, which was exactly one week after it happened and her own family was already telling me she did it not her son.

I didn't hear the jail house confession (but cellmates throw them out to get better conditions, time off that sort of thing) but no, there was very little direct evidence.
You said she told her family she did do it? How do you know this and why didn't that come out in trial? As far as the son goes, the cops made him make that call after interrogation.
It's all Circumstantial. But it didn't matter: Jury convicted. Juries convict for less.
Good riddance then.
