The comment by Bob Lowell that this is political makes me wonder what planet he has been living on during the past 4 years.
Anna Cowin should of been removed years ago.

"Some of Lake's community leaders said they were baffled by the School Board's decision, which former longtime Leesburg Commissioner Bob Lovell said was clearly political"

Is the same guy that is getting questionable insurance benefits from the City of Leesburg and not employed any longer. Also does he host a local TV show paid by the city? If it is maybe he should keep his opinions to himself and be happy that are not investigating him!! Or if it is him maybe he should be investigated as well. Questionable politicians

I have usually agreed with Bob Lovell on most issues. This time I do not. Anna should go and go quickly.

If the Lake School Board wanted to feel resopnsible for the people that elected them, they should have gotten off their backsides and given the students, parents, and teachers in south Lake new schools long before now. Mrs. Cowin wanted a new K-8 school at Four Corners four years ago but you all said no. In this respect, you are a do nothing Board. Oh, in case you forgot, elected superintendents don't have contracts.

Once again Bob Lovell has his head in the sand. When we elect someone who has absolutely no qualifications for the job, should we expect aqnything less than what we have gotten from Cowin? Thank heavens we have gone to an appointed superintendent rather than to perpetuate a failed political sysyem!

This is exactly how I feel about Bush too. We have become a complacent society unable to get the right things accomplished and move forward.

In America its all about getting yours, getting all you can, and screwing whoever you have to get it. That is the essence. Bob and Anna are typical. Bob insists on collecting benefits from COL taxpayers. Anna has been monomaniacally obsessed with populating the school district with her cronies to concentrate power for the benefit of Anna.
