Morrow County asks employees to take 10 unpaid days off

Morrow County commissioners voted Monday to ask about 200 county workers paid by the general fund to volunteer to take 10 unpaid days off before the year's end to help balance the budget.

200 employees x 80 hours = 16,000 hours and they only save $120K? Does anyone else do the math and get that this averages $7.50 an hour WITH benefits?

Morrow County is in sad sad shape right now. The MCSO has cancelled night patrols and when there is an emergency at night, they dispatch the Deputy that is on station or wake up other Deputies to respond, the courts are out of paper.
