All cops do this, it's like a sport to them. You see them do it on COPS every day. I guess too many donuts makes it easier to just run them down like animals. This is right up there with the biggest cop lie of all "police broke off the pursuit just before the accident". I personally witnessed this in westfield when a high speed pursuit (for a suspended license) weaved through the city endangering hundreds of lives. As I listened on the scanner and the cars passed at 60 or 70 mph in a residentail area, I heard them say "too dangerous, we've broken off the chase". As he radioed that, he was 12" off the bumper of the vehicle they were after, followed by a dozen other assorted vehicles. They AT NO TIME backed off that chase, only said they did so if a crash occured they are not held liable. It's nice to know they are brave enough to run after dangerous crims like an unlicensed driver, but not man enough to stand up and take responsibilty for an innocent kid or adults they may harm, maim, or kill. They passed my spot 2x more minutes later, and althought they had supposedly backed off, they were still 12" off his bumper at 60mph through the city...for a suspended license. The idiocy of it all is just amazing. I've even seen it on cops a few times, but not as blatantly as this real life pursuit in westfield. Luckily in this situation in westfield nobody got hurt, because I had the video camera rolling WITH sound so you could hear the cops talk over their radios and see what was actually occuring. I would've loved to be a witness in that case. Fact is they do this everyday, and it makes them no better than the criminal they chase, maybe even more dangerous.

If ya run the cops are bringing an a$$ kickin with them...simple solution--->DON'T RUN!!!
Cops around here need to be more like that, then maybe there will be less crime!!

Oh yeah, not paying the state for a license gives them the right to run you down in the street. Sheesh. We need to stand up and stop allowing these idiots to wear the uniform.
