Mechelle Nidermaier was upset over the robbery because it went beyond robbery.

now they don't have to worry about the rent.
if convicted the taxpayers will cover all expenses.

As an ex-boyfriend of Mechelle, I can definately say that this was not her character. I am certain that she made an untasteful choice when affiliating herself with this guy Houston. Not saying she is innocent but definately dissapointing for anyone who knew her. Very pretty and smart girl with a lot of personality that went through an abusive life. She latched to anyone who showed interest. Very sad to see she had to settle for this murderer.

I dated Devon for a short time we worked at Burger King together right before this happened he even lived with my family for a while I am very grateful I ended our relationship when I did because he always had me drive him around in the Kennedy Park area I would of never suspected he would do something like this though he was very respectful and good to me but I guess everyone has a dark side sad Devon and his new girlfriend had to stoop this low for rent money keeping them both in my prayers
