I knew him too, and just as dude above me said, he was not a MONSTER at all. Many things he did were wrong. However, he was a living person with a family, it is a shame that he took his life. Instead of living in the glory of anyones life being taken, I will pray for thoes who might be on the same path as him.

I used to date this guy. Thank God I came to my senses. I had no idea he was into this kind of stuff.

I use to date him also. He was real real sweet. But I started seeing things I did not like, and the kind of person I am I was NOT by any means having it. I must say I did not think it was as deep as it was, and I did not think he would take his life.

Does anyone believe that the removal or death of a drug dealer will reduce drug users desire for drug. It is all about supply and demand. I am sure someone has already taken his place. The real issue is what can be done about reducing peoples desire to use?

Umoja was a great person. He took me under his wing and taught me the finer points in life. He was a loving father and often brought up his son. He watched out for me like a father would, and payed for my college degree in many ways. He was highly intelligent. He did a great service to the community, imagine the Columbus homeless without their precious drugs, white girls getting raped every hour. OH no! He sold drugs! He also sold self awareness, good manners, and inspiration. I loved this man as my brother and I miss him everyday.

A little leaven ferments the whole lump, the bible says. So a little badness messed up your whole reputation. He knew risks involved and made a choice. But it's hard to believe he took his own life. Sometimes someone else has a hand in these so-called suicides. We will never know for sure. Don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time!
