Fairborn rejects 7.9-mill school levy

The Superintendent and School Board should WAKE UP and realize that asking for a PERMANENT tax is INSANE!! And yes, the "almighty dollar" is a real concern for most people, especially in this economy! We already pay an income tax plus property taxes to the schools. We invest more than $10K per student per year (more than WSU full-time tuition). It's enough. Bring your teaching and administrative salaries more in-line with the state averages, stop bragging about mediocrity, and go work on EDUCATION and not only campaigning for more money!

Are you sure that's the problem? These schools in Ohio should get more money alloted to them from the Ohio lottery...no one likes taxes raised, but its ur children's education at stake....
