Nice to see that truth and justice finally caught up with the fraud and theft of Ed Pebler. A $69,000 salary for the state corrections job and lots of fraud-based perks like fake-surplussing good County assets for him and his buddies. And he still can't resist deceiving the Coxsackie board that he's okayed to take a plum $12,000 code enforcement job (and then work it on the state job's time!). I hope that his actions as a code enforcement officer are also closely scrutinized for evidence of kickbacks, etc. I don't think anyone involved with the investigation of his activities would be surprised if Pebler had referred builders and contractors to his own buddies in construction. Nice work done by the State Inspector General's Office - great to see justice served.
