This is so sad...and infuriating! What idiot would do such a thing?!! I hope the person is caught.

This bird is young and will never fly again. If you remember the birds that were here a few months ago, the Eagle was able fly with a human on a hang glider.
That was the only way that poor bird got to fly again. He got to fly 8 times. This recent shooting victim may never get to fly again. Shame on the person who did this. Loser!!

There is no reason to shoot the bird, its unlawful and moronic. Two sad points, One... A protected bird gets shot and Two... Another moron makes the news... with any luck we will learn the name of that idiot.

NOT "typical" of true Hoosiers that love our state, country, and city/town they may live in. The eagle is a symbol of our freedoms, as well as theirs. They aren't "typical" of Indiana behavior...it's typical of their selfish acts of proving how great they are. But not brave enough to step up to the plate.

Dont lock the rest of us in with this idiot, your putting yourself down to, kind of an oxy-moron statement don't you think? Do I need to explain the meaning of that? But this person needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law can give. The Bald Eagle is a beautiful and majestic bird that stands for our country. How could anyone do this is beyond me. I am completely dumbfounded.
