I guess none of you people have ever stole before or have a family member that has stolen something...someone you love; it's not a joke when you get with the wrong crowd and your talked into doing bad things..It doesn't mean they should die because they made a mistake. I'm not saying he should get away with his crime; he is serving time; but I'm thankful he wasn't killed. His mother and family love him..He just got into trouble like any of your children or family members could do. Death should be used for child molesters, rapists, or murders or something terrible like that maybe but not for stealing.

People that use phrases like "talked into" and "the wrong crowd" are looking for an excuse. the truth is other people and words do not force hands to steal. If people commonly got shot for stealing, anyone but a complete idiot would think long and hard before deciding to steal, or letting the "crowd" tell him to do so.

I totally agree with "Yes". It's time people started taking responsiblity for their own actions. Have the good judgement to not associate with "the wrong crowd". If you are so weak minded that you can't stay out of trouble, stay home and play video games and avoid those bad people who make you break the law. Common sense folks!
