Dudley Cooper is a Daviss County resident and he is under a three year contract that will most likely not be renewed. But let us not forget he did get us the $12,000 opening day at the Ky state fair reception that brings NOTHING to this county because the only people that attend are pageant winners and drunks

Dudley Cooper! Again this man's accomplishment's and successes speak loudly and clearly for themselves. Absolute volumes.
Let us let the chips fall where they may and educate everyone about Dudley Cooper's true purpose here in the community.
Dudley is here to be a political scapegoat if the community became too upset with the job situation and inaction of the local elected officials.
Fact: Dudley is drawing a large salary and is close to retirement age so the political fallout does not affect him much.
Fact: Dudley has no roots in this community so it is easy for him to move back out to Ohio County and live out his retirement if the political pressure becomes too hot.
I notice whenever someone makes a salient point about jobs and elected officials here comes Dudley's name under the wheels of the bus (not that he doesn't deserve to be held accountable as well as our tax drawing elected officials)
Truth be known Dudley knows that this is a short term gig and as soon as enough people become upset at paying so many salaries for so little action, he will be gone.
I have talked with Dudley Cooper. The man is an empty suit. He is good at saying nothing and taking a long time to say it. I see a lot of shaking of heads going on every time someone walks away from a conversation with him. He is not a real genuine person. He is a politician (former judge executive of Ohio County I believe) and not a corporate rainmaker. I am sick of smiles that look like the wolf just ate the sheep. It states to me that there is a school of thought among these elected officials that tax payer money is there playpen to do with as they choose with no responsibilty on their part.
I am sorry you did not understand what I meant about the Model Community.
In conclusion. Over 6 years no measurable jobs gained. Unemployment at 16%, real unemployment much higher within the county. Higher than surrounding counties. Total lack of action in the area of jobs. How do these people sleep at night? Lack of conscience?
I truly hope that there are some major happenings afoot in the jobs area like you state.(Which would mean you have intimate personal knowledge of the inner workings of our Local Government.) But I am still waiting on all the Steakhouses and economic prosperity that the alcohol vote would bring in. Holding my breath!
I am impressed with your intellect. You have made some tremendous points. No one has bested you in a point yet. Thank you for helping out your community by sharing your insights and suggestions. We need people like you to lead. Who are you? Why don't you come forward?

Because when you come forward and use your real name you get trashed on here so it is easier to hide behind a fake name no matter how good your ideas are.

Wonder if County Judge Executive Gary Logsdon saw last nights WAVE3 broadcast on subpar contractors? Wonder if he himself knows about sub par contractors? Keep watching when the STATE of KY is questioned about doing their job or not in policeing the licensed and unlicensed contractors. I believe Tim Hinson has spoke to him on numerous times regarding said concerns. Wonder if the camera were turned on Judge Logsdon what he might say regarding attempts for change in the construction business and what Hinson was trying to tell him for years now?

<quoted text> Ask judge Logsdon what he did to try and help a fellow by the name of Tim Hinson. Hinson ran for County Judge Executive in the Primary for Hardin County. Hinson has been waiting for Judge Logsdon and other members of the Lincoln Trail District Board of Health for a meeting to discuss some corrupt bull--it in the construction industry for over 2.5 years and Gary Logsdon has yet to be able to pull a meeting together. Logsdon knows what may go down in Hardin may very well reach Grayson County right under Judge Logsdon's nose. If divulged it could be bad for him a little bad anyway.

<quoted text>16.4% unemployment! The jobs you are referring to are a result of handouts (economic stimulus) from the state and federal government. What has Logsdon or anyone on fiscal court done to create real, sustainable jobs for this county? Nothing, absolutely nothing. We can't live off of government welfare (economic stimulus) forever. While unemployment is bad everywhere, it is worse in Grayson County. Hell, every surrounding county has lower employment than Grayson County. Logsdon is a nice guy and I'm sure he loves Grayson County , but it is time for a change in leadership and that goes for fiscal court as well.
you are a joke
