Yeah well 14 percent unemployment. I would call that great. But hey we might get another park or maybe another statue of liberty.

Gary has been working hard for Grayson County in ALL areas. It is NOT his fault that the Federal Government is driving off industry from America with the ridiculous capital gains taxes. Gary has played a great role in bringing new jobs to Grayson County. Gary Logsdon is proud of Grayson County and loves all of us and it shows in everything he does.

Its easy to talk crap when you are inactive in changing things.

Dear Tired, you will more than likely have to relocate or become and entrepeneur. The land is full of opportunities.

My family recently moved down south. Maybe your right most of the comments I've been reading from others sound like they love the way things are going around here. A move might be neccesary.

Hate to see you move, but it is up to you to determine your success. When anyone puts there hope and faith in government they will always be disapointed.

Best of luck!

Have you given any thought to just how many jobs Gary Logsdon and the Fiscal Court have saved and contribute to?

These new bridges that will make some of the roads in our county much better, will not build themselves. Gary isnt going out there with a bucket and shovel to make them happen. Gary isnt going to pocket the money and wish the bridges up there. The guys at the County Road Dept. are not the only ones involved in the building of the bridges, other companies are contracted for materials.

Oh I really could go on....

16.4% unemployment! The jobs you are referring to are a result of handouts (economic stimulus) from the state and federal government. What has Logsdon or anyone on fiscal court done to create real, sustainable jobs for this county? Nothing, absolutely nothing. We can't live off of government welfare (economic stimulus) forever. While unemployment is bad everywhere, it is worse in Grayson County. Hell, every surrounding county has lower employment than Grayson County. Logsdon is a nice guy and I'm sure he loves Grayson County , but it is time for a change in leadership and that goes for fiscal court as well.

You havent paid any attention to the new factories that are coming here have you? You didnt see the front page of the paper a couple months ago about ground breaking for a new factory. There are yet some plans to be released.

You know heres the problem, when we had factories here there was such a turnover rate on employees that was costly to the companies. People just didnt want to work. Now, they are crying there are no jobs, its ALWAYS an excuse for some. You know what they say, one excuse is better then none.....

What role did Logsdon and fiscal court play in that? I don't think a local guy opening a metal fabrication and welding shop really constitutes a factory. The reality is that manufacturing in this country is dead. It is time to build a new economy that recognizes that. What has Logsdon and fiscal court tangibly done to improve the economy of this community?

I am with you Are you kidding, that is hardly a factory coming in. What happened to the other factories that were supposed to move into Grayson county? I heard they were wanting to pay employees to much money, so they were turned down. It's obivous that The real Scott is a relative of Gary Logsdons.

Scott I'm betting Are you kidding is not an elected official whose job it is to stimulate community growth both industrial and otherwise not run them off or make no effort to keep them as Logsdon has done repeatedly during his tenure. It's time for change.

I go back to another post on here, but what do you expect the city council or the fiscal court to do about losing manufacturing jobs in this country? Yes, I said country not county. Noone could stop that!

You're pretty much an idiot. Anyone that doesn't agree with you is either on drugs or stupid, right? You, sir, are an idiotic prick. Every breath you take wastes oxygen someone more productive could be breathing.

See, doesn't feel good to be on the other end of the attack, does it?
