To begin with, I'm not looking for a penny for my time. I enjoy doing fun activities after school with the kids. I do a few of the traditionals such as volleyball, basketball, chess, academic team, etc., but I have two activities that need funding.
#1) Archery Club for elementary kids. Start-up costs will be $3,000.
#2) Motocross/ORV Club. This isn't for the same kids who have parents that can afford these toys. Those kids will be welcome, but this will be for everyone. Focus ages will be 4th grade to 8th grade. We need to buy 6+ bikes and protective gear! Start-up costs will be $10,000.
I'm as ADHD as they come, but I'm 37 now. The money I make from teaching and the military goes to bills, not toys (for the most part). I want to give kids opportunities to try all the things I did that have nothing to do with video games.
I enjoy teaching and doing things for kids in Grayson County. If you have the means or know someone that might be interested in sponsoring my endeavors, please email me at: [email protected] I'd be glad to go out to lunch or dinner to discuss possibilities.
